Dear Minnesota KGSA,

It is with great pleasure to write to you to introduce our new educational and training programme from the World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA) Seoul Office. 

With Peace and Security being at the very heart of WFUNA's mission, we have launched a new programme, ‘WFUNA Peace Fellows Programme’ which promotes the effective participation of youth in the peace and security issues through a week-long training course at Seoul, Republic of Korea from 6 to 10 January 2020. 

This highly selective programme provides students with a unique opportunity to observe firsthand the long-lasting effects of war, the local realities of the global discourse on peace, and the recent developments for peace in the Korean peninsula with a particular focus on the North Korea issues.  

 

On completion of the ‘WFUNA Peace Fellows Programme’, all trainees would be presented with official certificates issued by WFUNA. These opportunities will contribute to realizing the potentials of youth in supporting peacebuilding work at the local, national and international level. 

 

The total cost of the program is $1,700 USD per participant, which includes training fee, hotel accommodation, lunch and study tour.
