Company Profile:

LGLS was started as LG Chemical Investment in 1980s with research initiated on Pyrethroid insecticide then launched agrochemicals (Pyrethroid insecticide) after establishing plant at Onsan in 1986. In 1990s, the company introduced proprietary herbicide (Pyanchor), pharmaceutical intermediates (DAMA), and Proprietary fungicide (Guardian). In year 2002, LGLS has demerged from LG Chemical Investment and established Strategic Alliance with Lupin for application of DATMA. The company also launched proprietary herbicide and established strategic alliance with Ishihara Sangyo Kaisha for Fluxo in 2004 and 2005. LGLS expanded its market to U.S.A by registering three generic products, Metalaxyl, Lambda-Cyhalothrin, and Esfenvalerate with EPA in 2006. Since then LGLS is intensifying its agricultural market. LG Life Sciences has been developing and leading agrochemicals globally for nearly twenty years. The company has produced Pyrethroid insecticides, Cypermethrin, Deltamethrin, and Lambda-Cyhalothrin to facilitate many consumers in agriculture and created three new molecules being developed globally and produced great new products as mentioned in history of the company.

Description

- Insecticide/Fungicide sales in mainly West Coast possibly and possibly cover Mid-West area

- Customer relationship and sales support in the area mainly CA, OR, WA and Mid-West states.

- Create Marketing plan/strategies

- Develop new direct businesses and sales relationships

- Coordinate sales operations, and marketing plans

- Analyze and maintain knowledge of clients' business and latest news and trends.

- Other duties as assigned like as regular weekly reporting and meeting summary report.

Requirement

- At least Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural business related major preferred. (including Chemistry or Biology)

- More than 2-3 years’ experience in Agricultural business is PLUS

- Ability to develop sales relationship with clients business.

- Management and Communication Skills to work efficiently

- Ability to handle multiple tasks and timely regular reports

- Required Travel more than 50%

- Agricultural chemical distributor or supplier experience preferred
