Required Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree in MIS, computer science or a closely-related field AND 4 years of progressively more responsible professional experience in a variety of information technology areas related to the duties assigned OR a combination of education and progressively more responsible professional work experience in an area closely related to this position totaling 8 years.

• Experience with relational database application development and technical documentation.

• Experience with relational database administration and programming skills including one of the following: MySQL, PostgreSQL or SQL server.

• PHP programming experience for 4+ years. 

• PHP programming skills with one of the following MySQL, PostgreSQL or SQL server.

• Experience with jQuery, JavaScript and Ajax.

• Experience with Linux operating systems, managing Apache servers and PHP configurations and modules.

• Experience with cascading style sheets and HTML editing. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with OOP, proficient with programming with PDO, cURL, XML, PDF, etc, 

• Experience with Photoshop, Flash action script programming

• Knowledge and experience with CMS such as Drupal and Wordpress

• Strong multi-tasking skills

• Demonstrated strong written and oral communications skills, i.e. ability to write clear user instructions and documentation for all applications

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team comprised of IT accounting, and administrative staff.

• Demonstrated ability to interact well with application users
