Associate/Manager, Corporate Development
Job Description:

As part of our globalization efforts, we are actively expanding into the United States. SK USA, Inc., our US head office based in New York City, is seeking Associate and/or Manager of Corporate Development. The Associate and/or Manager will assist the Managing Director of Corporate Development and they will be assigned among three of the following sector teams: ICT (Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, IDC, Healthcare), Energy (Natural gas midstream businesses and emerging E&P technologies), Biotech & Pharmaceutical.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze financial & strategic business data
- Research ICT/Energy industry sector in details
- Work with team on project discussions and attend client meetings
- Put together and present new business opportunities
Qualifications:
- MBA degree or currently in 2nd year in MBA program
- Minimum 5+ years work experience in ICT or Energy, equipped with financial skills of investment banking and strategic planning at a US company with international presence; any analyst experience at a management consulting firm or a global investment bank a plus
- Fluency in English; Korean a plus
- Ability to manage multiple global projects, present and analyzing comprehensive financials, and develop creative problem-solving
- Excellent communications (both verbal and written) and presentation skills
- Superior proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
- Well-rounded business mind that is fine-tuned by the challenge of putting to work the firm’s money.
Requirements:
- US citizen or permanent resident; may sponsor H1 Visa
- Some traveling involved
Compensation:
Compensation will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
